Circular reinforced concrete with upgraded waste (CIRRCON)

The CIRRCON Project has received funding from the LIFE Programme of the European Union. The main objective of the project is production of circular (reinforced) concrete elements. We do so by:

• Upgrading waste streams into a binder for concrete;
• Avoiding primary material use and reducing waste;
• Demonstrating excellent technical performance of the concrete elements;
• Demonstrating different circularity aspects; 
• Evaluating feasibility of business case.
